The Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) Audit Tool has been developed to allow MATs to review their schools across a range of areas. The MAT Audit Tool is completely customisable to your MAT’s ethos, processes and approach.

The MAT audit tool has been created to enable Multi Academy Trust Directors to:

  • Facilitate accurate self evaluation across MAT schools

  • Track periodic improvement across MAT schools

  • Prioritise resource allocation across the MAT based on need

  • Provide a framework for holding headteachers to account

  • Provide a structure for headteacher reporting to governors and directors
